Anonymous identifier: when you play online or take the Daily Challenge, your
browser is assigned an anonymous identifier (via Firebase Authentication). We do not collect
your name, email address, or any account details.
Handle: the optional handle you choose. It is public: it appears on the
leaderboards and anyone can look it up.
Callsign: the optional callsign you enter before an online match, which is
shown to your opponent.
Online gameplay data: room codes, shot coordinates, match outcomes, and rematch
scores, needed to synchronize a match between two players.
Chat messages: text you send in in-game chat during online matches.
Daily Challenge data: the shots you fire, when you started and finished, your
shot count and time, your streak, and running totals (games played, best and average results).
Your shot count, time, streak and totals are shown publicly next to your handle on the
leaderboards; your individual shots are visible only to you.
Technical data: standard technical data collected by our infrastructure
providers (e.g., IP address, device/browser type), used for security and abuse prevention.
Stored on your device: your Campaign progress and scores, Daily Challenge
progress, sound settings, handle, and last-used callsign are saved in your browser's local
storage. Firebase also keeps your anonymous sign-in in your browser's storage so you are
recognized when you return. This stays on your device.
We do not collect payment information. The Game shows ads from Google; see Advertising & Cookies below.
2. How We Use Information
To operate matchmaking and synchronize gameplay between players;
To show your callsign and chat to your opponent during a match;
To run the Daily Challenge: check each shot, time your run, and keep streaks and
leaderboards;
To moderate abuse, enforce our Terms, and maintain security;
To improve the Game's stability and features;
To show ads that keep the Game free (see Advertising & Cookies).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, and Hosting)
to host the Game and operate online play and the Daily Challenge. Google processes that data under
the Google Privacy Policy.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages and
sites people arrive from, along with general details such as country,
browser, and page load speed. It does not use cookies or local storage and
does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare processes that data
under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Advertising & Cookies
The Game is free to play and is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. To show and measure
those ads:
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to
this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on
your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting
Google Ads Settings,
or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at
www.aboutads.info.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and some US states are asked for
consent, or offered a choice to opt out, through Google's consent message before personalized
ads are shown.
Each online room, including its moves, callsigns, and chat, is set to
expire 24 hours after it is created or last rematched, and expired rooms
are then deleted automatically. Your handle, Daily Challenge results, streaks and
leaderboard totals are kept for as long as the leaderboards run, unless you ask us to delete
them. Data saved in your browser stays on your device until you clear your browser's site data.
To request deletion of your data, including your handle and leaderboard entries, contact
paulyddesign@gmail.com.
5. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a
child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete
it.
6. Data Security
We rely on our infrastructure providers' industry-standard security
practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International Users
The Game is operated from the United States and is not directed at users
in the EU, UK, or other regions outside the United States. If you access
the Game from outside the United States, your data may be processed in
the United States. If you are in the EU/UK or another region with its own
data-protection law, you may have additional rights (access, correction,
deletion, portability) under that law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will
be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
